Looking for School Tea Towels & Superb Quality Giftware.

Countryside Art Ltd, a family business, was established in 1976 by our two founder directors John and Margery Chapman. At that time, as parents of a child with learning difficulties, they were closely involved with their son’s special needs school. Part of that association involved children from the school visiting the rurally-based workshop to take part in arts and printing projects.  It was these children from Eresby School in Spilsby who produced our first ever school tea towels.

 

Inspired by the idea, John’s mother took the printed tea towels to show some local schools in the East Anglia region, where she lived, and the whole business took off spectacularly from there.

 

Thirty years later, and now operating from a large modern state-of-the-art, purpose built factory, many other companies have tried to imitate us but we have remained the leading producer of fundraising school tea towels in the UK.

 

The reason for our number one position is the care and attention we put in to every aspect of our school tea towels and our additional extensive range of school giftware; from our vastly experienced design team who check and enhance your artwork through to our expert printers and production team.  Finally our quality control department individually check every tea towel and giftware item before despatch. 

Our range now includes, adult and child aprons and bags, peg bags, carrier bag tidies, kit bags and book bags.  We also produce notelets, jotter pads, mugs, full colour calendars, full colour Christmas cards, fridge magnets and key rings.  In addition we offer a full range of printed and embroidered t-shirts, sweat shirts, polo shirts and fleeces.
